Poster for Iran Turkish language movie unveiled for Fajr

Poster of Iran's Turkish language movie has been unveiled for Fajr Festival.

Ahead of Fajr Film Festival in Iran, a poster for Asghar Yousefinejad’s Turkish language movie ‘The Home’ (Ev) is unveiled.

The movie which is Yousefnejad’s directorial debut will premiere at Fajr Film Festival and vie at the National View section of the event.

The poster’s designer, Amir Etminan, made it  based on a photo by Ali Reza Alizadeh.

The Turkish language movie with Persian subtitles features Iranian actors Mohadese Heirat, Ramin Riazi and Gholam Reza Baqeri. The film has the Turkish title ‘Ev’.

The movie’s synopsis reads Sayeh has been out of contact with her family for six years after marriage. She returns back to his father’s home only to find that he is being transferred for an autopsy . This comes as Sayeh cannot come to terms with his father’s strange will and testament.

Established in 1982, Fajr Film Festival is an event that celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.

Since its establishment, Fajr International Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 35th Fajr Film Festival will be held in February 2017.
